WELCOME TO THE JOHNSON COUNTY MONTESSORI SCHOOL
The Johnson County Montessori Preschool was founded in 1965 in Overland Park. Our Montessori-trained and certified teachers provide individualized lessons using proven teaching methods in a comfortable, homey environment. We also have a large, nature-filled playground.
Our long term success is because early childhood education in the Montessori tradition is so effective, encouraging children’s natural love for learning and giving them opportunities to develop problem-solving skills to use all their lives.
We believe in a strong relationship between home and school. Continual, open communication with the parents is essential. We consider it instrumental to provide constant updates, and communicate through a variety of formal and informal means so that everyone is up to date about topics that can affect the learning and well-being of the children in our care.
